To show you how this is possible, the REIQ caught up with two real estate professionals who both have unique stories.
The Chance Young Gun who Made the Most of his Real Estate OpportunitiesJarrod Willis started in real estate when he was 15 years old. With natural confidence and a drive to be successful, he made the most of the real estate opportunities open to him.
During the early days of his career, Willis spent several years learning the ropes from several different agents before taking on the role of sales consultant.
Willis found that he loved helping people buy and sell property. Combined with the knowledge that his income had infinite potential; Willis knew that he had chosen the right path.
10 years on and Willis can't see himself ever wanting to leave. "I definitely want to stay in real estate, that's the career for me," he says.

The Unexpected Dream JobKathleen Luck's introduction to real estate may not have been planned but it has certainly paid off. Working in hospitality during her early 20s, Luck realised that she wanted to start her career there and then.
Throwing caution to the wind, Luck quit her job, saw a job advertisement for real estate and gave it a shot.
"I thought 'ah yeah, I'll give it a go', and two weeks later I was working at Harcourts," she says. "I started as admin and went into sales about a month later." After two years, Luck made up her mind: real estate was her calling, and she was in it for the long haul.
Despite jumping in blind with no solid career goals, Luck has made the most of her real estate opportunities and created a lifestyle she's very content with. With a stable income and a wonderful local community, she is very happy with the decision she made.
