A dramatic vision of the future and how the real estate profession will evolve to meet a changing landscape where trust is the primary currency will be unveiled at IGNITE: REIQ Summit 2019.
The two-day conference will show real estate professionals how to prepare for the trust economy, how they will need to change the way they deliver customer service and how the robots will help, rather than replace, the human relationship-building skills that will be required for success.
The event is open to everyone. People from professions other than real estate and members and non-members of the REIQ are all welcome to attend.
REIQ CEO Antonia Mercorella said this year’s conference was the most forward-thinking and dramatic conference the real estate sector had ever seen.
“Our agents need to prepare themselves, not for the next two years, but for the next two decades. The way we interact online is going to be very different in the future. Trust is a key issue. People are looking for who they can believe, who is authentic and who will deliver the results they want and it’s not necessarily about money.
“The next generation of property consumer, whether that’s owner occupier or investor, will have different values to the generations that have gone before. They will have different expectations and demand different results.
“We must be ready to meet them on their terms, not the other way around,” Ms Mercorella said. “This conference will do that.”
The REIQ Summit is now in its fourth year and has become the highlight of the real estate calendar.
