CPD Program Terms and Conditions

 

1. Eligibility and Enrolment

1.1. By enrolling in a CPD Program with the REIQ, you confirm that you:

  • Hold a current and valid real estate licence or registration in Queensland.
  • Have reviewed your licence issue or renewal date and determined your CPD requirements for the relevant calendar year.

1.2. It is your responsibility to ensure that the CPD course selected aligns with your professional obligations as set by the Office of Fair Trading (OFT) or other relevant regulatory bodies.

2. CPD Requirements

2.1. You acknowledge that CPD requirements may vary depending on your licence type, issue date, and regulatory updates.

2.2. By enrolling, you confirm that you have considered when CPD is required for you to complete during the relevant year and that this course meets those requirements.

3. Course Access and Completion

3.1. Course access will be granted upon successful enrolment and payment.

3.2. You must complete all required modules and assessments to receive a certificate of completion.

3.3. It is your responsibility to complete the course within the timeframe specified at the time of enrolment.

4. Fees and Refunds

4.1. All course fees are payable in full at the time of enrolment unless otherwise stated.

4.2. Refunds will only be issued in accordance with the REIQ’s Refund Policy, available on our website.

4.3. No refunds will be provided for failure to complete the course within the required timeframe.

5. Compliance and Record-Keeping

5.1. The REIQ will issue a certificate of completion upon successful completion of the course.

5.2. It is your responsibility to retain this certificate and submit it to the relevant authority if required. REIQ Members may opt to use the CPD Tracker available in the REIQ Portal.

5.3. The REIQ does not submit CPD completion records to the Office of Fair Trading on your behalf.

6. Changes to Course Content or Requirements

6.1. The REIQ reserves the right to update course content, delivery methods, or assessment requirements to ensure compliance with current legislation and industry standards.

6.2. Any such changes will be communicated to enrolled participants where applicable.

7. Code of Conduct

7.1. Participants are expected to engage in the course professionally and respectfully.

7.2. Any form of misconduct, including plagiarism or disruptive behaviour, may result in removal from the course without refund and in accordance with the REIQ Handbook.
