WAYDE HILDREW - REIQ Business Development Manager of the Year
'How to become an award winning BDM'

Wayde is the current REIQ BDM of the Year. With over 10 years experience working
in Brisbane, he has a passion for growing rentrolls and thrives on chasing and achieving
growth goals whilst at the same time providing both the lessors and tenants with
an outstanding customer service experience.  Wayde is a high achiever; he is one of
the most recognised BDM'S Nationally and has assisted thousands of investors in
the property management process. 



'Building a saleable rentroll and being sale ready'

Scott Mackey’s real estate career spans almost 25 years, with 17 years as a business owner.
He built a 400-strong rent roll but sold it this year to further expand his short-term rental
(STR) Business, incorporating Airbnb. Scott will explain why you need to seriously take
notice and educate yourself about this explosion of STR’s.
Scott’s other business interests include a marketing and IT business, Queensland-wide
body corporate businesses, and a diverse double-digit property portfolio that he has
built and not inherited.

With over three decades in the property industry, Jason's name is synonymous with excellence
and innovation in all facets of real estate practice. After a highly awarded Sales and Auctioneering
career Jason set his sights on revolutionising property management practices and growing a rentroll.
Never one to settle for average, he set high goals and through an innovative approach to lead generation
and conversion grew a start up property management business rapidly to become a market leader .
More recently Jason has held National roles with LJ Hooker and Little Real Estate and is now
Queensland Manager for CampaignAgent.

Andrew is a Special Counsel in the Financial Lines team, having commenced at Carter Newell
Lawyers in 2007.
Andrew has over twelve years of experience defending a wide range of claims against real
estate agents in Queensland, New South Wales and the Northern Territory. 
Andrew has acted for real estate agents in defending claims involving allegations of misleading
and deceptive conduct, breaches of the Property Occupations Act 2014 (Qld) and the
mismanagement of properties.

For over 35 years she has been helping sellers, buyers, landlords and tenants enjoy a positive real estate
experience. It's her passion, and when she's not selling or renting property, she's training other real

'This is a hands on session to help you optimise your digital focus with particular focus on (bring your laptop and have your social media login and passwords).

Grant started his career as a passionate real estate sales agent, working alongside
some of the best agents in Australia, specialising in selling prestige properties across Brisbane.
In 2012 as the digital revolution was gaining momentum, Grant took the opportunity
to work with the REA Group. His initial purpose was to get behind the big red doors
at to better understand the trends, tricks and hacks driving
(and leading) the digital evolution of the Australian real estate industry - If he could nail this,
he would continue to stay ahead of the curve.



KASEY MCDONALD - Director - Property Management Training Academy
'Accelerated Growth - the basics and beyond'

Her ongoing support, training, auditing and re-structuring strategies promote increases to bottom-line
profits and efficiencies in poorly performing offices. From her experience as a real estate business
owner herself where she organically grew her rent roll from zero to 227 in 3 years, and she has a
thorough understanding of the key operations for any successful real estate business.
Kasey has the experience and results to equip business owners with the tools they need to efficiently
run their real estate business for better future profitability. As the director of the Property Management
Training Academy, Kasey assists some of the country’s leading real estate groups and is a sought-after
keynote speaker both here and abroad including New Zealand and the USA.

- We do not raise invoices for event bookings - you must pay via credit card at the time of booking. A tax invoice will be issued on receipt of payment.
- Paid parking is available next to the REIQ for a flat rate of $8 per day. We do encourage guests to arrive early to secure a car park as it is a very busy area.
