The Real Estate Institute of Queensland (REIQ) is taking LIFT to new heights in 2026, unveiling an exceptional keynote lineup for what is set to be Australia’s most significant real estate conference and tech event.

Held over two days on 14–15 July, real estate and proptech professionals will convene at the Royal International Convention Centre in Brisbane for a dynamic program of sector‑specific content that’s futuristic, inspiring and practical today.

Keynote speakers include influential global real estate coach Jared James (US), award-winning documentary maker and Gruen star Todd Sampson, all-rounder industry titan Nobu Hata (US), and forward-thinking real estate innovator Ines Hegedus‑Garcia (US).

LIFT 2026 also offers Type 2 CPD and a range of specialist workshops covering topics such as AML/CTF obligations, risk management and confidence on camera.

For the first time, LIFT is being delivered in partnership with REACH Australia & New Zealand, ensuring a highly immersive, experience‑driven approach to embracing proptech that removes the fear factor from new technology.

REIQ CEO Antonia Mercorella said LIFT 2026 would be a high‑energy, hands-on event that uniquely shakes up the traditional real estate conference with a new tech element.

“Real estate is experiencing unprecedented change and a growing need for business efficiency, particularly when it comes to technology, innovation and regulation,” Ms Mercorella said.

“That’s why we’re blending real estate conference essentials such as quality professional development, practical learning, and inspiring speakers, with an infusion of tech.

“LIFT is designed to essentially be a two-for-one conference for real estate professionals –it’s two days where tradition meets tech.

“LIFT 2026 is designed to future‑proof careers and businesses across all sectors of the profession, helping real estate professionals think outside the box, embrace new strategies and lead with confidence.

“Our vision is to make LIFT the most impactful real estate events ever staged in Brisbane – unmissable on the calendar and attracting a truly national audience each year.”

Managing Partner of REACH Australia & New Zealand, Peter Schravemade, said LIFT 2026 would help real estate professionals get familiar with tech that’s relevant, usable and within reach during live demonstrations, AI panels and applied technology experiences.

“LIFT 2026 brings together the people building what’s next with the professionals who will use it,” Mr Schravemade said.

“Attendees will be able to touch, test and interact with emerging tools, AI and the digital strategies in a way that builds capability and demystifies technology.

“Our focus is on helping the industry deliver smarter workflows, better content and improved client experiences - not in theory, but in ways that can be implemented immediately.”

A number of event ambassadors have been appointed to help elevate the event across different states and broaden its national appeal.
