From panels to poolside: LIFT Conference combines learning and luxury
Real estate professionals are set to converge on the Gold Coast from 8-9 October 2025, for an inaugural real estate conference designed as an energising educational experience.
LIFT 2025 takes a range of the Real Estate Institute of Queensland’s (REIQ) popular events – RealTech, Sales Conference, Property Managers Conference, Commercial and Industrial Conference, and Auctioneer Competition - and combines them into a two-day, immersive agenda.
REIQ CEO Antonia Mercorella said the real estate peak body wanted to bring the profession together to share in something uplifting and extraordinary.
“We’re renowned for the calibre of our events, both for educational and experiential value, but we’re always looking for new ways to entice real estate professionals to engage in further learning to lift their game,” Ms Mercorella said.
“That’s how the inaugural LIFT 2025 Conference has come about, from wanting to create a renewed sense of excitement and enjoyment in professional development – a love of learning.
“LIFT is the ultimate real estate experience that will help professionals elevate their success in their working lives.
“It’s also a celebration of real estate across all the sectors, bringing us all back together and remembering there’s much to be learned from each other as well.
“Over the two-days, they’ll be everything from inspiring keynotes, interactive panels and lively debates, a trade show floor, as well as the thrilling spectacle of our Auctioneer Competition.
“One minute you might be diving into deep issues at a panel, the next you’re unpicking what the AML legislation actually means for you, and then topping the day off with poolside canapes and live, interactive food stations to connect and unwind with fellow professionals.
“We will take a deep dive into the tools, strategies and tactics that will help build their skills across leadership and performance; AI, tech & innovation; marketing and personal branding, property management, sales, auctions & negotiation, customer experience, market insights and more.
“Keynote speakers include tech entrepreneur and media personality Jules Lund on ensuring the effort high performers put in leads to impact rather than exhaustion, and the go-to authority on goal achievement, Keith Abraham on setting goals, inspiring growth and building trust to lead your team to success.
“It will be impossible not to be inspired and motivated by additional keynote speakers including Lachlan Stuart, the first person to complete 58 marathons in 58 days across 58 states speaking on building mental toughness and resilience to consistently show up with stamina, and Paul de Gelder, a daredevil diver who came back fighting from a shark injury speaking on how to harness resilience and adaptability to succeed and lead high-performing teams through challenges.
“This is designed to be a sensational destination event - we have arranged excellent packages at the 5-star JW Marriott (fresh from a $35 million renovation) so attendees can enjoy luxury on the iconic Gold Coast and our beautiful Queensland spring weather.
