45 Fellows find their place among REIQ's finest

REIQ Fellows, Outstanding professionalism

The Real Estate Institute of Queensland (REIQ) is proudly welcoming 45 outstanding professionals into its esteemed Fellowship ranks for the 2024-25 financial year.

Awarded by the REIQ Board, Fellowship is a prestigious title reserved for practicing members who have completed a total period of 15 years membership and demonstrated exceptional commitment to the real estate profession, professional conduct, and the values upheld by the Institute.

REIQ CEO Antonia Mercorella said the honour recognises those who have consistently led by example and made lasting contributions to Queensland’s real estate sector.

“Being appointed as an REIQ Fellow is a well-earned achievement that reflects sustained commitment to professionalism, integrity, education, and service,” Ms Mercorella said.

“Fellows are leaders in many respects – experienced professionals who have built long-standing careers defined by ongoing development, giving back, and best practice.”

Ms Mercorella said the newest cohort of Fellows represents a broad cross-section of Queensland’s real estate community.

“Whether based in regional towns or major city centres, these members have each demonstrated unwavering dedication to raising the bar in real estate practice,” she said.

“We are proud to count them among our most respected and valued members.”

Fellows receive a formal certificate of Fellowship commemorating this significant achievement and may use the post-nominal FREIQ as a public mark of their standing and contribution to the profession.

“As we celebrate this milestone with our newest Fellows, we hope it inspires the broader membership, and the next generation, to pursue this next level of professional excellence,” Ms Mercorella said.
