2024 Awards for Excellence, Outstanding achievement

The Real Estate Institute of Queensland (REIQ) is today throwing the doors open for nominations to its highly anticipated annual Awards for Excellence 2024, to be held on Saturday 16 November at The Star Brisbane.

REIQ CEO Antonia Mercorella said real estate professionals throughout Queensland could now start preparing and polishing their award nominations to stand out from the pack.

“The start of our awards season is always an exciting time, as real estate professionals gear up to compete for coveted awards titles recognised throughout the State,” she said.

“As the peak professional body, our prestigious awards provide an impartial appraisal of a nominee’s performance, measured against the best practice standards we set.

“In 2024, we have 29 award categories open for individuals and agencies. Recognising Queensland’s diverse marketplaces some awards are split into regional and SEQ areas.

“For certain categories, finalists will be put in the hot seat as they are interviewed by our judges, to delve into and complement their written submissions.

“Becoming a finalist or taking out an award title signals to the real estate community and clients that you are raising the bar when it comes to performance and professionalism.

“It all culminates in the glittering gala event in November where hundreds of real estate professionals shine both on and off the stage and show support for their peers.

“We’re excited to be holding this year’s event in the shiny-new Star Brisbane in the Queen’s Wharf precinct, where we’ll be sure to raise the roof and celebrate into the night!

“Last year we had a record 934 attendees packed to the rafters at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, and believe it or not, the stage is set to have an even bigger and better awards night this year which you will not want to miss.”

It’s time to shine! Nominations close on Friday 19 July 2024, with the winners announced at a gala dinner at The Star Brisbane on Saturday 16 November 2024. Find out about the categories and how to enter here.
