The REIQ's Zone Events are back in 2022 and we're delighted to be travelling across Queensland to catch up with our members and the profession from 4 May to 7 June. We'll give you an overview of current industry issues and the legislative landscape, including tenancy reforms, useful information on the REIQ Standard Contract and Form 6 plus an overview of how to thrive in any market. The Federal Budget was announced last week and the REIQ is supportive of the initiatives to tackle housing affordability. We agree with measures that support first home buyers and single-parent families plus the objective of encouraging people to move to the regions. However, we feel more could be done. The REIQ would support all levels of government working together to develop a bi-partisan plan to address housing affordability and better planning for our future housing needs.
