The Certificate IV in Property Service (CPP40307) (Real Estate) agency support traineeship will provide a wide ranging knowledge and skill base designed to prepare trainees for a practical supporting role within an agency. Trainees undertaking this Level IV traineeship will gain the required units of competency to apply for their registration under the Property Occupations Act 2014 (Qld).

The agency support traineeship covers the essentials of sales, property management and corporate support skills.  Further, the units of competency in this traineeship have been selected to best provide information on the areas of activity commonly undertaken by agency support staff, including maintaining business technology, using business records or filing systems, participating in meetings, working effectively as part of a team, along with understanding what constitutes effective communication skills and how to process common agency documentation.

The units for this Level IV Traineeship are studied by contact training at the REIQ over a 24 month traineeship period.  Some trainees may be eligible to undertake their traineeship studies by distance education.  Trainees will be required to complete written assessments for all competencies contained in the traineeship.
