2019 REIQ Auction Competition

Congratulations to all competitors in the 2019 REIQ Auctioneer of the Year Competition. The calibre of this year’s Auctioneering competition was exceptional and the judges were blown away in the heats and finals by the standard set by all the competitors.

The newly crowned 2019 REIQ Auctioneer of the Year is Gavin Croft, with Justin Nickerson as runner up. Both gentlemen will be representing Queensland at the 2019 Australasian Auctioneering Championships, to be hosted by the REIQ in Queensland, next year.

Due to the wonderful support of this event, we were able to raise much needed funds for our Queensland farmers who are doing it tough in regional areas. $1,950 was raised from the charity auction held on the night. That, plus $10 from every ticket sold will be donated to the Queensland Drought Appeal.
